One of the most difficult types of competitions, requiring very good preparation from athletes, are those lasting several days and multiple stages. Here, the athlete’s task is not just to show the best result. To achieve victory, the athlete must build a strategy for using their physical capabilities and correctly distribute the workload. Therefore, as a rule, victory is not won by the most agile athlete, but by the one who knew how to use their abilities correctly.
But the type of race where the athlete’s speed and skill are fundamental is called track racing. These take place in special locations, on cycling tracks. While running laps, athletes must develop maximum speed to overtake their opponents.
For our team, road races are our favorites. Athletes race on ordinary roads and showcase their skill. This type of race is considered classic and includes famous races like the Tour de France and others. The winners of these races can be individual athletes or teams.
Mountain track racing is one of the most physically demanding events for athletes. The routes in these competitions are usually very complex and require total dedication from each rider.
There is yet another exciting type of race: races on complex surfaces with obstacles. These races take place on special bicycles and require extreme skill, not only in mastering the bicycle but also in the ability to think tactically and get out of various difficult situations.
